        The last 100 years has been filled with more human tragedy than at any other time in human history. Countless millions have perished off the face of the earth making the 20th century the greatest era of loss of human life in all of history. In fact, let me word that another way. Millions of people have 'disappeared off the map', vanished without a trace in the vast majority of  history books from a controlled agenda. Unless one takes an examination of "all" the facts and historical works available , one never sees "the holes" that have been made by the conspirators that hide the connecting threads that point to one primary suspect. Academic history has been systematically contrived to hide significant events that have taken place, and to hide the accused because the conspiracy "is strong", long though out and planned for, and has been carefully executed on a time-table. That time table is in fact THE BIBLE and specifically "bible prophecy". There has never been an era of 'mass human genocide' like there has been in the 20th century. All of your wars, inquisitions, pogroms, massacres for the last 6000 years do not compare to the untold carnage the 20th century has witnessed, and yet, the society of the 21st century HAS NO IDEA!. To say it is a fact that history has been manipulated , after the fact, is an understatement. To state that history has been falsified is a generalization. To show and prove that the same persons are responsible is to pull off the veil of one of the most heinous cases of 'deception" the world has ever seen. To endeavor upon such a task is considered 'sedition'. To not endeavor on such a task is TREASON and iniquity which will certainly lead to future genocide do to ignorance. I have chosen LIFE and those who read and understand this, to, have chosen life, and 'the record' having the highest of all authorities is the Holy Sciptures, and they take precedence above all other documents and documentation. However, if the bible confirms events that have taken place in the last 100 years, that just lends weight to the actual truth Im about to relay. There are many political facets that have taken place in the last 100 years or so that very few know about, and therefore cannot identify the actual "guilty party" that perpetuated the entire of the evil and heinous crimes against humanity that has taken place.

        This is what jewry refers to as "Iretz Israel", or, "greater Israel". The "snake" right now sits in BAGHDAD just as the map shows. All other areas traversed already by the snake were accomplished in the last 100 years, and the "ring" is going to come to a head in DAMASCUS per Isaiah 17 war that drags all of Europe into the fray. The traversing through Arabia could be symbolized by the Bush families Arabian oil ties and business leading up to BIN LADEN. The occupation of Palestine in 1948, the wars with Egypt, all marked and accomplished "fete d'etat". Note that the snake includes for Iretz Is-Real-Hell a chunk of western Egypt including Cairo and most along the Nile including THE PYRAMIDS for the "snake" is real big on the pyramids. AN ACT

To require a report on acts of anti-Semitism around the world.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

 

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

 

    This Act may be cited as the
    `Global Anti-Semitism Review Act of 2004'.

 

SEC. 2. FINDINGS.

 

    Congress makes the following findings:

 

      (1) Acts of anti-Semitism in countries throughout the world, including some of the world's strongest democracies, have increased significantly in frequency and scope over the last several years.

 

      (2) During the first 3 months of 2004, there were numerous instances of anti-Semitic violence around the world, including the following incidents:

 

        (A) In Australia on January 5, 2004, poison was used to ignite, and burn anti-Semitic slogans into, the lawns of the Parliament House in the state of Tasmania.

 

        (B) In St. Petersburg, Russia, on February 15, 2004, vandals desecrated approximately 50 gravestones in a Jewish cemetery, painting the stones with swastikas and anti-Semitic graffiti.

 

        (C) In Toronto, Canada, over the weekend of March 19 through March 21, 2004, vandals attacked a Jewish school, a Jewish cemetery, and area synagogues, painting swastikas and anti-Semitic slogans on the walls of a synagogue and on residential property in a nearby, predominantly Jewish, neighborhood.

 

        (D) In Toulon, France, on March 23, 2004, a Jewish synagogue and community center were set on fire.

 

      (3) Anti-Semitism in old and new forms is also increasingly emanating from the Arab and Muslim world on a sustained basis, including through books published by government-owned publishing houses in Egypt and other Arab countries.

 

      (4) In November 2002, state-run television in Egypt broadcast the anti-Semitic series entitled `Horseman Without a Horse,' which is based upon the fictitious `Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion'. The Protocols have been used throughout the last century by despots such as Adolf Hitler to justify violence against Jews.

 

      (5) In November 2003, Arab television featured an anti-Semitic series, entitled `Ash-Shatat' (or `The Diaspora'), which depicts Jewish people hatching a plot for Jewish control of the world.

 

      (6) The sharp rise in anti-Semitic violence has caused international organizations such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to elevate, and bring renewed focus to, the issue, including the convening by the OSCE in June 2003 of a conference in Vienna dedicated solely to the issue of anti-Semitism.

 

      (7) The OSCE will again convene a conference dedicated to addressing the problem of anti-Semitism on April 28-29, 2004, in Berlin, with the United States delegation to be led by former Mayor of New York City Ed Koch.

 

      (8) The United States Government has strongly supported efforts to address anti-Semitism through bilateral relationships and interaction with international organizations such as the OSCE, the European Union, and the United Nations.

 

      (9) Congress has consistently supported efforts to address the rise in anti-Semitic violence. During the 107th Congress, both the Senate and the House of Representatives passed resolutions expressing strong concern with the sharp escalation of anti-Semitic violence in Europe and calling on the Department of State to thoroughly document the phenomenon.

 

SEC. 3. SENSE OF CONGRESS.

 

    It is the sense of Congress that--

 

      (1) the United States Government should continue to strongly support efforts to 'combat' anti-Semitism worldwide through bilateral relationships and interaction with international organizations such as the OSCE; and

 

      (2) the Department of State should thoroughly document acts of anti-Semitism that occur around the world.

 

SEC. 4. REPORTS.

 

    (a) ONE-TIME REPORT- Not later than November 15, 2004, the Secretary of State shall submit to the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on International Relations of the House of Representatives a report on acts of anti-Semitism around the world, including a description of--

 

      (1) acts of physical violence against, or harassment of, Jewish people, and acts of violence against, or vandalism of, Jewish community institutions, such as schools, synagogues, or cemeteries, that occurred in each country;

 

    ul>
      (4) the efforts by such governments to promote anti-bias and tolerance education.

 

    (b) INFORMATION REQUIRED IN ANNUAL DEPARTMENT OF STATE REPORTS- The Secretary of State shall include the information required under subsection (a) in the annual reports of the Department of State known as the Annual Report on International Religious Freedom and the Annual Human Rights Report.

It is a law that has now been passed that calls to "ACTION" against all of the articles contained. Thus the tile of the act is "FALSE" and misleading. A BILL

To halt Syrian support for terrorism, end its occupation of Lebanon, stop its development of weapons of mass destruction, cease its illegal importation of Iraqi oil, and hold Syria accountable for its role in the Middle East, and for other purposes.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

 

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

 

    This Act may be cited as the

    SYRIA ACCOUNTABILITY ACT OF 2003

 

SEC. 2. FINDINGS.

 

    Congress makes the following findings:

 

      (1) United Nations Security Council Resolution 1373 (September 28, 2001) mandates that all states `refrain from providing any form of support, active or passive, to entities or persons involved in terrorist acts', take `the necessary steps to prevent the commission of terrorist acts', and `deny safe haven to those who finance, plan, support, or commit terrorist acts'.

 

      (2) The Government of Syria is currently prohibited by United States law from receiving United States assistance because it is listed as a state sponsor of terrorism.

 

      (3) Although the Secretary of State lists Syria as a state sponsor of terrorism and reports that Syria provides `safe haven and support to several terrorist groups', fewer United States sanctions apply with respect to Syria than with respect to any other country that the Secretary lists as a state sponsor of terrorism.

 

      (4) Terrorist groups, including Hizballah, Hamas, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, maintain offices, training camps, and other facilities on Syrian territory and operate in areas of Lebanon occupied by the Syrian armed forces and receive supplies from Iran through Syria.

 

      (5) United Nations Security Council Resolution 520 (September 17, 1982) calls for `strict respect of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, unity and political independence of Lebanon under the sole and exclusive authority of the Government of Lebanon through the Lebanese Army throughout Lebanon'.

 

      (6) More than 20,000 Syrian troops and security personnel occupy much of the sovereign territory of Lebanon, thereby exerting undue influence upon its government and undermining its political independence.

 

      (7) Since 1990 the Senate and House of Representatives have passed seven bills and resolutions calling for the withdrawal of Syrian armed forces from Lebanon.

 

      (8) Large and increasing numbers of the Lebanese people from across the political spectrum in Lebanon have mounted peaceful and democratic calls for the withdrawal of the Syrian Army from Lebanese soil.

 

      (9) Israel has withdrawn all of its armed forces from Lebanon in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 425 (March 19, 1978), as certified by the United Nations Secretary General.

 

      (10) Even in the face of this United Nations certification that acknowledged Israel's full compliance with Resolution 425, Syria permits attacks by Hizballah and other militant organizations on Israeli outposts at Shebaa Farms, under the false guise that it remains Lebanese land. Syria also permits attacks on civilian targets in Israel.

 

      (11) Syria will not allow Lebanon, a sovereign country, to fulfill its obligation in accordance with Security Council Resolution 425 to deploy its troops to southern Lebanon.

 

      (12) As a result, the Israeli-Lebanese border and much of southern Lebanon is under the control of Hizballah, which continues to attack Israeli positions and allows Iranian Revolutionary Guards and other militant groups to operate freely in the area, destabilizing the entire region.

 

      (13) The United States provides $40,000,000 in assistance to the Lebanese people through private nongovernmental organizations, $7,900,000 of which is provided to Lebanese-American educational institutions.

 

      (14) In the State of the Union address on January 29, 2002, President George W. Bush declared that the United States will `work closely with our coalition to deny terrorists and their state sponsors the materials, technology, and expertise to make and deliver weapons of mass destruction'.

 

      (15) The Government of Syria continues to develop and deploy short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.

 

      (16) The Government of Syria is pursuing the development and production of biological and chemical weapons.

 

      (17) United Nations Security Council Resolution 661 (August 6, 1990) and subsequent relevant resolutions restrict the sale of oil and other commodities by Iraq, except to the extent authorized by other relevant resolutions.

 

      (18) Syrian President Bashar Assad promised the Secretary of State in February 2001 to end violations of Security Council Resolution 661 but this pledge has not been fulfilled.

 

      (19) In direct violation of United Nations Sanctions, Syria has been importing 200,000 barrels of Iraqi oil on a daily basis since 2000, which has provided Iraq with up to $1,200,000,000 annually.

 

      (20) There are reports that Syria is pursuing the development of chemical weapons, such as VX and Sarin, and is harboring fugitive Iraqi officials.

 

      (21) On April 20, 2003, President Bush said there were positive signs that Syria will cooperate on the issue of harboring fugitive Iraqi officials.

 

SEC. 3. SENSE OF CONGRESS.

 

    It is the sense of Congress that--

 

      (1) the Government of Syria should immediately and unconditionally halt support for terrorism, permanently and openly declare its total renunciation of all forms of terrorism, and close all terrorist offices and facilities in Syria, including the offices of Hamas, Hizballah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command;

 

      (2) in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 520 (September 17, 1982), which calls for the strict respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Government of Syria should immediately declare its commitment to completely withdraw its armed forces, including military, paramilitary, and security forces, from Lebanon, and set a firm schedule for such withdrawal;

 

      (3) the Government of Syria should halt the development and deployment of short- and medium-range ballistic missiles and cease the development and production of biological and chemical weapons;

 

      (4) the Government of Syria should halt illegal imports and transshipments of Iraqi oil and come into full compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 661 and subsequent relevant resolutions;

 

      (5) the Governments of Lebanon and Syria should enter into serious unconditional bilateral negotiations with the Government of Israel in order to realize a full and permanent peace; and

 

      (6) the United States should continue to provide humanitarian and educational assistance to the people of Lebanon only through appropriate private, nongovernmental organizations and appropriate international organizations, until such time as the Government of Lebanon asserts sovereignty and control over all of its territory and borders and achieves full political independence, as called for in United Nations Security Council Resolution 520.

 

SEC. 4. STATEMENT OF POLICY.

 

    It is the policy of the United States that--

 

      (1) Syria should bear responsibility for all attacks committed by Hizballah and other terrorist groups with offices or other facilities in Syria, or bases in areas of Lebanon occupied by Syria;

 

      (2) the United States will work to deny Syria the ability to support acts of international terrorism and efforts to develop or acquire weapons of mass destruction;

 

      (3) the Secretary of State will continue
       to list Syria as a state sponsor of terrorism until Syria ends its support for terrorism, including its support of Hizballah and other terrorist groups in Lebanon and its hosting of terrorist groups in Damascus, and comes into full compliance with United States law relating to terrorism and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1373 (September 28, 2001);

 

      (4) the full restoration of Lebanon's sovereignty, political independence, and territorial integrity is in the national security interest of the United States;

 

      (5) Syria is in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 520 (September 17, 1982) through its continued occupation of Lebanese territory and its encroachment upon its political independence;

 

      (6) Syria's obligation to withdraw from Lebanon is not conditioned upon progress in the Israeli-Syrian or Israeli-Lebanese peace process but derives from Syria's obligation under Security Council Resolution 520;

 

      (7) Syria's acquisition of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs threaten the security of the Middle East and the national interests of the United States;

 

      (8) Syria has violated United Nations Security Council Resolution 661 (August 6, 1990) and subsequent relevant resolutions by purchasing oil from Iraq; and

 

      (9) the United States will restrict assistance to Syria and will oppose multilateral assistance for Syria until Syria withdraws its armed forces from Lebanon, halts the development and deployment of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles, and complies with Security Council Resolution 661 and subsequent relevant resolutions.

 

SEC. 5. PENALTIES AND AUTHORIZATION.

 

    (a) SANCTIONS- Unless the President makes the certification described in subsection (d), the President shall take the following actions:

 

      (1) Prohibit the export to Syria, and prohibit the issuance of a license for the export to Syria, of--

 

        (A) any defense articles or defense services for which special export controls are warranted under the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2751 et seq.), as identified on the United States Munitions List maintained under section 121.1 of title 22, Code of Federal Regulations; and

 

        (B) any item identified on the Commerce Control List maintained under part 774 of title 15, Code of Federal Regulations.

 

      (2) Impose two or more of the following sanctions:

 

        (A) Prohibit the export of products of the United States (other than food and medicine) to Syria.

 

        (B) Prohibit United States businesses from investing or operating in Syria.

 

        (C) Restrict travel of Syrian diplomats assigned to Washington, District of Columbia or the United Nations in New York, New York, to a 25-mile radius of Washington or the United Nations headquarters building, respectively.

 

        (D) Reduce United States diplomatic contacts with Syria (other than those contacts required to protect United States interests or carry out the purposes of this Act).

 

        (E) Block transactions in any property in which the Government of Syria has any interest, by any person, or with respect to any property, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

 

    (b) WAIVER- The President may waive the application of paragraph (2) of subsection (a) if--

 

      (1) the President determines that it is in the national security interest of the United States to do so; and

 

      (2) submits to the appropriate congressional committees a report that contains the reasons for such determination.

 

    (c) AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO SYRIA AND LEBANON- The President is authorized to provide assistance to Syria and Lebanon under chapter 1 of part I of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2151 et seq.) (relating to development assistance), if the President--

 

      (1) makes the certification described in subsection (d);

 

      (2) determines that substantial progress has been made in negotiations aimed at achieving--

 

        (A) a peace agreement between Israel and Syria; and

 

        (B) a peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon; and

 

      (3) determines that the Government of Syria is strictly respecting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, unity, and political independence of Lebanon under the sole and exclusive authority of the Government of Lebanon through the Lebanese army throughout Lebanon, as required under paragraph (4) of United Nations Security Council Resolution 520 (1982).

 

    (d) CERTIFICATION- The President shall transmit to the appropriate congressional committees a certification of any determination made by the President that--

 

      (1) the Government of Syria does not--

 

        (A) provide support for international terrorist groups; and

 

        (B) allow terrorist groups, such as Hamas, Hizballah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine--General Command to maintain facilities in Syria;

 

      (2) the Government of Syria has withdrawn all Syrian military, intelligence, and other security personnel from Lebanon;

 

      (3) the Government of Syria has ceased the development and deployment of ballistic missiles and has ceased the development and production of biological and chemical weapons; and

 

      (4) the Government of Syria is no longer in violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 661 or a subsequent relevant United Nations resolution.

 

SEC. 6. REPORT.

 

    (a) REPORT- Not later than 6 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, and every 12 months thereafter until the President makes the certification described in section 5(d), the Secretary of State shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on--

 

      (1) the progress made by the Government of Syria toward meeting the conditions described in paragraphs (1) through (4) of section 5(d); and

 

      (2) any connection between individual terrorists and terrorist groups that maintain offices, training camps, or other facilities on Syrian territory, or operate in areas of Lebanon occupied by the Syrian armed forces, and the attacks against the United States that occurred on September 11, 2001, and other terrorist attacks on the United States or its citizens, installations, or allies.

       Now, almost everywhere I go in the scripture where DAMASCUS is being spoken of, I find the inferences to "THE DAY OF THE LORD AND HIS COMING"!!!!. What should be noted is that the "DAMASCUS GATE" is the northren gate of "THE WALL" that surrounds Jerusalem in the middle east. What also needs to be noted is that the prophets state that "A CLOUD, A "RED" CLOUD OF "DESTROYERS" INVADES THE LAND.........."FROM THE NORTH". Said cloud invades THE TEMPLE AND THE SANCTUARY, EVEN JERUSALEM. The 'wall' is very important in prophecy, its all through the bible. That wall is being "FORTIFIED" and built surrounding Jerusalem RIGHT NOW. "Fortified" as there already was an "old wall" there of which the Damascus Gate is apart of. Now, what you also find throughout these prophecies surrounding damascus is that there is a FIERY DESTRUCTION that takes place then "THE JUDGMENT" for it!. "WHAT" shall be that signature the world "sees" that shall make them realize GOD HAS RETURNED "INCARNATE"???. The bible infers that "EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM" at the coming of the Lord.......EVERY EYE!. Now, unless we live in another "dimension", this isn't exactly feasible in a 3 dimensional universe. But it is if "seeing" is not only referring to SIGHT but another type of inference. However, it must be something that "EVERYONE EVERYWHERE" shall experience to KNOW or rather "see" as the scripture states. 'Israel should bomb strategic targets in Damascus'
AFP, Jerusalem

Israeli Transport Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who heads a far-right party in the governing coalition, said yesterday that the military should bomb "strategic targets" in Damascus to put an end to attacks by the Syrian-backed Hezbollah militia.

"In order to put an end to Hezbollah's attacks, it is necessary to attack strategic targets in Damascus, such as the army headquarters, the central electricity board, the telephone exchange, the public broadcasting house or the presidential palace, even if this last site has a more symbolic character," Lieberman told army radio.

"It is effectively Syria which is responsible for everything that is going on in Lebanon, and it is through (Syrian) territory that the weapons from Iran reach Hezbollah," said the minister, who heads the National Union party.

His comments came just days after a major flare-up on the border with Lebanon, which left one Israeli soldier dead and five injured.

Despite the clashes with Hezbollah, chief of staff Moshe Yaalon said Sunday he doubted the Lebanese militia was looking to escalate the situation.

"I get the feeling that Hezbollah knows it is not in its interest to provoke such an escalation, but in any case we have the means to make it understand," Yaalon told public radio.

On Friday, the head of Israel's northern command, Benny Gantz, warned both Syria and Lebanon against any military escalation, saying it would be "catastrophic" for them.

"Hezbollah understands the price of an escalation," he said.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Sunday he was cancelling a planned trip to Washington as the cabinet discussed his controversial Gaza withdrawal plan which was voted down by his own Likud party.

Shortly after the start of the session, Sharon told cabinet members he was calling off his trip to Washington planned for mid-May, public radio reported.

He had been expected to be in the United States on May 14-15 to speak at an annual meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPIC) lobby group, which is traditionally attended by the US president.

But doubts over the trip emerged after his right-wing Likud party trounced his "disengagement" plan which had been warmly endorsed by President George W. Bush.

Implications of the Likud 'no' vote in a May referendum of the party's members topped the agenda Sunday at the weekly cabinet meeting, in what was its first session since the vote.

In Daniel, nebuchadnezzar has his kingdom taken from him, he is made to be like the BEASTS of the field and goes "INSANE" till "7 TIMES PASSES OVER HIM". He is made to eat GRASS like an oxen, his body became "WET" with the dew of heaven (wet, symbolic of JONAH being swallowed by the whale in THE SEA) till his hair was grown like "EAGLES FEATHERS" (Dan.4:33) and his nails like BIRDS CLAWS. At the end, his 'reason" is bestowed back to him and he regains his kingdom and glory. There are many prophecies dealing with Nebuchadnezzars future reign in type and shadow in the last days as the King of babylon, in which the nations shall be judged by. Thus, prophetically, a parenthetical "reversal" takes place wherein Nebuchadnezzar regains his kingdom as king of babylon and is "INSANE" instead of regaining his 'reason', conspiring and plotting with the WHORE to kill the saints most high. Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;

A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
[Proverbs 6:12-15]



He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck,
shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
[Proverbs 29:1-2]



For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net,
and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time,
when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.
And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee.

yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.
Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war
.Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled:
suddenly are my tents spoiled,
and my curtains in a moment.
[Jeremiah 4:19-20]



This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.
If the scourge slay suddenly,
he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
[Job 9:22-23]



Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word,
and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall,
 swelling out in a high wall,
whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood:
 they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth:
and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off:
and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
[Isaiah 47:10-11]



Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth. They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion. We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail. Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side. O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation:
for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.

Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them. Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle. Let a cry be heard from their houses,
when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them:
for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet. Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee;
 deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.
[Jeremiah 18:19-23]



Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed:
howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
[Jeremiah 51:6-8]



Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee,
and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
 Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
[Habakkuk 2:5-8]



Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek,
shall suddenly come to his temple,
even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people:
I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee:
 therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.  Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.
They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. They spend their days in wealth,
and in a moment go down to the grave.
[Job 21:7-13]



 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor?
for they all are the work of his hands.
In a moment shall they die,
and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
[Job 34:18-22]



 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment!
 they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee
[Psalm 73:17-22]



Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee:
hide thyself as it were for
a little moment,
until the indignation be overpast.
For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
[Isaiah 26:20-21]



66 Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
How is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the sanctuary are poured out in the top of every street. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom,
 that was overthrown as in a moment,
 and no hands stayed on her.
[Lamentations 3:66, 4:1-6]



 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
[1 Corinthians 15:52-53]



For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods:
so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you,
and destroy thee suddenly.
[Deuteronomy 7:4]
