What do ye say? Does the LAW still remain? YES it
does....and NO it does not!. The law remains and is in full force and
effect for all those who KEEP THE LAW, or who ATTEMPT TO KEEP IT. The
"LAW" remains for all those who will NOT come to Jesus Christ ON
HIS TERMS. The law remains for without the law, there is NO MORE
CONDEMNATION. If there is no more condemnation, then why is there a HELL,
THE TRIBULATION, a JUDGMENT, and almost every living thing wiped off the face of
the earth during the DAY OF THE LORD?. Jesus Christ DID NOT come to do
away, or rather, OBLITERATE the "law" as Babylonia wants you to
believe. No, Christ came and TRANSFORMED THE LAW INTO THE LAW OF
"AGAPE" LOVE VIA "REBIRTH". Now, for all those who OBEY
CHRIST, and do as he asks and SEARCH HIM OUT with all your might till
HE IS FOUND, the "law" is DONE AWAY WITH IN
"AGAPE". In other words, the LAW IS
TRANSFORMED INTO "LOVE"!!!. This was the entire purpose of
the "law" IN THE FIRST PLACE!. To those who REFUSE THE
"GRACE" OF JESUS CHRIST, AND WHO REFUSE TO "ENTER IN" TO THE
"NEW COVENANT" VIA THE "STRAIT GATE & NARROW WAY":
THE LAW REMAINS IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT!
This is WHY and HOW they are condemned before God.
Now, you might ask "where in the whole of scripture does it say that the
law has changed?". Well, there are a number of scriptures that say just
that very thing, and we will start with Hebrews:
"For he was yet in the loins of his father, when
Melchisedec met him.
If therefore PERFECTION were by the
Levitical priesthood,
(for under it the people received the law,) what further need
was there that another priest should rise after the order of
Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?.
FOR THE PRIESTHOOD
BEING CHANGED,
THERE IS MADE OF NECESSITY
A CHANGE OF THE LAW
ALSO".
(HEBREWS 7:10-12)
This is a NEW TESTAMENT verse describing what happened when Christ came,
in accordance to what happened to the LAW of the OLD TESTAMENT. What Paul
is stating here, is that the "law" of the Old Testament was CHANGED,
it was not REMOVED by Christ. It is directly referring to the laws
pertaining to "perfection", or other wards SALVATION, REDEMPTION, or
being BORN AGAIN. Lets go on:
"for he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to
another tribe, of which no man
give attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord
sprang out of Juda; of which
tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. and it is yet
far more evident: for that
after the similitude of Melchisedec their ariseth another
priest, WHO IS MADE,
NOT AFTER THE LAW OF A CARNAL
COMMANDMENT,
BUT AFTER THE POWER OF A ENDLESS LIFE".
(Hebrews 7:13-16)
These verses are testifying of the KINSMEN REDEEMER qualities of our
Lord, how he came forth via the VIRGIN BIRTH, NOT under the CARNAL
COMMANDMENT. The last statement testifies of his DEITY. He was brought
forth not unto DEATH, but unto an ENDLESS "LIFE", and made after the
POWER of an endless life for HE IS GOD!!!. Lets go on:
"For he testifieth, thou art a priest FOREVER
after the order of Melchesidec.
FOR THERE IS A DISANNULING OF THE COMMANDMENT, GOING
BEFORE FOR THE WEAKNESS AND UNPROFITABLENESS THEREOF.
FOR THE LAW MADE NOTHING
PERFECT,
BUT THE BRINGING IN OF A
BETTER HOPE DID;
BY WHICH WE MAY DRAW NIGH UNTO GOD".
(Hebrews 7:17-19)
There are a few KEY elements to be looked at here. The purpose of the
"law" under the Old Covenant is laid plain in this verse. The
overall "effect" of the law DID NOT SAVE ANYONE, or rather,
"PERFECT" anyone. The "law" was put into effect to be CHANGED into
the "NEW" LAW when Christ came. This was in fact the purpose of
THE LAW. The LAW is like unto a SCHOOLMASTER. Take very good notice of
the wording of this verse. It states that there is a DISANNULLING of the
"commandment", or other wards, the OLD COVENANT. Then it states
that it WENT BEFORE to show the WEAKNESS AND UN-PROFITABLENESS. But, by
the bringing in of the BETTER HOPE, there is now ACCESS to God. Lets go
on:
"And
inasmuch as not without an oath he was made PRIEST:
(for those priests were made without an oath; but this with an
oath by him that said unto him, the Lord sware and will not
repent,
THOU ART A PRIEST FOR EVER
after the order of Melchisedec:). By so much was JESUS
made a
SURETY of a better testament. And they
truly were many priests,
because they were not suffered to continue by reason of DEATH:
But this MAN, because he continueth ever,
HATH AN UNCHANGEABLE
PRIESTHOOD.
Wherefore he is able also to
SAVE THEM TO THE UTTERMOST
THAT COME UNTO GOD
B Y H I M (Christ),
seeing he EVER LIVETH to make intercession
for them".
(Hebrews 7:20-25)
Now, God makes it quite clear and obvious in these verses of Hebrews 7 that the LETTER
OF THE LAW "KILLS". It is not nor can it bring PERFECTION, which
is a "code word" for being BORN-AGAIN. Therefore, Jesus Christ came to
be our HIGH PRIEST and has taken the place of the "law" of sacrifices
etc., and even the LAW IN AND OF ITSELF as we shall soon see.
"For if that the FIRST COVENANT had
been FAULTLESS, then should no place
have been sought for the second. for finding fault with them, he
saith, Behold, the days
come, saith the Lord, when I shall make a
NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE
OF ISRAEL
and with the house of Judah: NOT according
to the covenant I made with their fathers
in the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land
of Egypt; because they
CONTINUED NOT IN MY COVENANT,
and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the
covenant I will make with the
house of Israel AFTER those days, saith the
Lord;
I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MIND
AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS:
and I will be to them a God, and they will be to me a
people".
(Hebrews 8:7-10)
Paul, in a few short verses, explains what actually transpired with the ushering
in of Jesus Christ. Because the House of Israel and Judah DID NOT CONTINUE
IN THE COVENANT, Christ came and the old covenant was REMOVED,
and a NEW COVENANT was brought in via Christ:
THE NEW COVENANT OF "REBIRTH"
VIA "AGAPE" LOVE
The 'old covenant' was done away with, it "waxed old", it EXPIRED
and was "REPLACED" by the NEW COVENANT of "rebirth".
I'm not speaking of the Abrahamic, Davidic, or any of the other covenants here.
I am speaking of the CENTRAL COVENANT OF THE LAW. The FORESHADOW
OF CHRIST, and when Christ came, the LAW "CHANGED".
"In that he saith, a NEW COVENANT,
he hath made THE FIRST old.
Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to
VANISH AWAY".
(Hebrews 8:13)
Now then, Jesus Christ agreed with this for in ACTUAL TRUTH, he
only left us ONE COMMANDMENT. That we are to "AGAPE" LOVE
ONE ANOTHER. Why? because ONLY "agape" love FULFILLS THE
LAW!!!. "Agape" needs no law, for it totally and completely is the
FULFILLMENT OF IT!!!.
"Owe no man anything, but to AGAPE one
another: for he that AGAPE another
HATH FULFILLED THE LAW.
For this, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill,
thou shalt not steal,
thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet; and if
there be any other
commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely,
THOU SHALT AGAPE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
AGAPE worketh no ill to his neighbor:
therefore
AGAPE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE
LAW".
(Romans 13:8-10)
Now Paul is quite emphatic and certain, that AGAPE LOVE, which is ONLY
granted at "rebirth", is the TOTAL AND COMPLETE FULFILLMENT OF
THE LAW. In point of fact, the VAST MAJORITY of christians are
turned away by Christ, for they were not BORN-AGAIN IN AGAPE (love). If
they were "born-again", they would have FULFILLED THE LAW!!!.
The NEW COVENANT OF AGAPE becomes GRACE "POSSESSED".
"GRACE" is the opposite of LAW KEEPING. ALL LAW "KEEPING"
IS CALLED "WORKS", and either we are SAVED BY GRACE,
or we are CONDEMNED BY "WORKS".
"For brethren,
YE HAVE BEEN CALLED UNTO
LIBERTY;
only use not liberty for an occasion to the FLESH,
BUT BY AGAPE SERVE ONE ANOTHER.
For ALL the law is fulfilled in ONE
WORD, even this, thou shalt
AGAPE (love)
thy neighbor as thyself".
(Galatians 5:13-14)
CHRIST "TRANSFORMED" THE LAW INTO AGAPE. To deny this is to
deny the NEW COVENANT, its just that simple. One can only obtain
"AGAPE" by being BORN-AGAIN, and there is no other method
outlined in the scripture ANYWHERE!!!. If one is not "born-again", one
will NOT "SEE" ETERNAL LIFE!!!.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say
unto thee,
EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN-AGAIN,
HE
CANNOT
SEE
the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be
born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his
mother's
womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee,
EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN
OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT,
HE
CANNOT
ENTER
into the kingdom of God. that which is born of the flesh is
flesh; and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit. MARVEL NOT
that I say unto thee,
YE MUST BE BORN-AGAIN.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest
the sound thereof, but
canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is
everyone
BORN OF THE SPIRIT".
(John 3:3-8)
Did not Jesus say that ALL the "law and the prophets" is reduced down
to ONE criteria, AGAPE? The entire bible points to the apex of the OLD
COVENANT, TESTAMENT: AGAPE LOVE, SHOWN TO US BY CHRIST,
given to us at "rebirth". We cannot add LAW TO LAW, and ORDINANCE
TO ORDINANCE!!!. It is not that keeping "feasts", and
"observances", and TRADITIONS is wrong per say, it is because they
keep you away from the primary task that God gave from the beginning, and which
is still a standing order, TO SEEK THE LORD IN TRUTH TILL HE
IS FOUND!!!. This is what God has to say about this:
"Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination
unto me;
THE NEW MOONS AND SABBATHS,
THE CALLING OF ASSEMBLIES,
I cannot away with;
IT IS INIQUITY,
EVEN THE SOLEMN
MEETING.
Your NEW MOONS and your APPOINTED
FEASTS
MY SOUL HATETH:
they are a TROUBLE unto me; I am weary to
bear them. and when
ye spread forth your hands,
I WILL HIDE MINE EYES FROM YOU:
yea, when ye make many PRAYERS,
I WILL NOT HEAR:
your hands are full of blood".
(Isaiah 1:13-15)
Now, why is God so upset with these NEW MOONS, SOLEMN ASSEMBLIES, SABBATHS,
and APPOINTED FEASTS?. And just so you realize, he is STILL upset
with these, and here's why:
"WASH YOU, MAKE YOU
CLEAN,
put away the EVIL of your doings from
before mine eyes;
CEASE TO DO EVIL".
(vs. 16)
Wash? be made clean? This is a DIRECT reference to REBIRTH and the
GRANTING of "agape" love.
"NOT
BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
which we have done, but according to his MERCY
HE SAVED US,
by the
WASHING OF REGENERATION,
and
RENEWING (from the fall)
of the Holy Ghost".
(Titus 3:5)
The ONLY thing that will "make you clean" is the WASHING
OF REGENERATION. You MUST be "born-again". It has
nothing to do with LAW KEEPING, SABBATHS, CHURCH, or any other RITUAL!!!.
This is from the INNER HEART. A total and complete change of the HUMAN
NATURE itself. You absolutely must be BORN-AGAIN. The LAW has
changed from the EXTERNAL to the INTERNAL!!!.AGAPE has
within it ALL ethical codes and conduct of MORALITY, which is the
entire basis of the LAW in the first place. This is why no laws
were given to Adam and Eve at creation for they had within them AGAPE
which did not need LAWS. Jesus told you in no un-certain terms, that unless your
RIGHTEOUSNESS exceeded that of the SCRIBES etc. etc. you WOULD NOT enter
the kingdom of heaven. He was saying that you are TOTALLY EXCLUDED ON
THIS VERY BASIS. it is only possible via REBIRTH. The SUPERNATURAL
BESTOWMENT of Christ's AGAPE by the power of God. Christians have
made the point that a "testament" can be CHANGED. That is TRUE,
only while the "testator" is ALIVE. But at the point of DEATH,
the "testimony" cannot be altered ONE IOTA in any way shape or
form.
"And for this cause he is the
MEDIATOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT,
that by means of
DEATH,
for the REDEMPTION of the transgressions
that were
under the FIRST TESTAMENT, they which are
called
MIGHT receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.
For where a testament is,
THERE MUST ALSO OF NECESSITY
BE A
DEATH OF THE TESTATOR.
For a testament is of force AFTER men are DEAD:
otherwise it is of
NO STRENGTH AT ALL
while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the FIRST
TESTAMENT
was dedicated without blood".
(Hebrews 9:15-18)
Every christian needs to take a DEEP STUDY of Hebrews and Romans, then
cross compare with what Jesus was saying about being BORN-AGAIN, born
from ABOVE in the SPIRIT of God, which is in all absolution AGAPE!!!.
Come OUT from under the LAW and the "bondage" it holds
with it. The LAW has been "changed", its now AGAPE!!!. The
torah represents THE LAW. The "law" KILLS. Only
Christ can make the "law" ALIVE, and because of this, the vast majority of
christians REFUSE to come to Christ, therefore they do not KNOW or
UNDERSTAND the Love of Christ and his GRACE, but rather, add LAW
UNTO LAW, and OBSERVANCE UNTO OBSERVANCE because they are still UNDER
THE LAW!!!. In actual fact, they revert back to their WORKS for
Christ in an attempt to prove that they LOVE HIM. If they TRULY
did love him, they would do OBEY and search for him, find him, understand
and KNOW THE TRUTH OF AGAPE!!!
"BUT SEEK YE FIRST
the kingdom of God and his righteousness;
and ALL these things shall be added unto
you".
(Matthew 6:33)
Does it say anything here about law, assemblies or rituals? The very first thing
you must do is SEEK GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS,
which is found IN Jesus Christ. For all those who refuse the STRAIT GATE
& NARROW WAY, which leads unto the REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS
"AGAPE",
THE LAW REMAINS AND WILL CONDEMN THEM
For those who OBEY christ and his command to ENTER IN, the GRACE
of our Lord is their COVERING. So, Christ is telling the absolute TRUTH
of the matter. He came to FULFILL THE LAW, and "transform" it
via REBIRTH IN AGAPE, and at the same time, he will not alter or change
one iota any of the LAW for all those who refuse to come to him on his
terms. There is then a choice:
CHRIST ++++++++++++++++++++LAW
GRACE++++++++++++++++LEGALISM
LOVE+++++++++++++++++++++DUTY
Both of these concepts are mutually
exclusive. The oft heard statement that "Jesus said that he did not come to
replace or change the law" is utterly UNTRUE. He not only said that HE
DID, he states in many places and in many different ways. The SIMPLICITY
OF CHRIST that is spoken of throughout scripture is AGAPE.
There is in actual TRUTH, no law but AGAPE during this "age
of grace". The LAW of the Old Covenant, in the Old Testament, is a FORESHADOWING
OF CHRIST, a way to present to Israel the concepts behind MESSIAH,
and his mission of REDEMPTION. To stay or rather "stick" in the
OLD COVENANT, is to begin at the beginning, instead of advancing on and
into the LIVING CHRIST, the only one who can REDEEM.
